Helium Cylinders

Helium Cylinders are available for hire in 3 different sizes and include the balloon inflator. 

How long do balloons last?

When filled with helium, good quality 28cm latex balloons will last approximately 8-12 hours, so you will need to plan to inflate your balloons the day of your event. Allow 45 minutes for two people to inflate 100 balloons.

How many balloons do I need?

If you are wanting to float your balloons on the roof, allow 8-10 balloons per square metre for complete ceiling coverage.

Please note: for every inch that the balloons are over inflated, the required pressure is enough to inflate another balloon. The number of balloons each cylinder can inflate should be regarded as an approximation only.
