Doug Ede’s range of Marquees is second to none in North Queensland. Our plain white or striped vinyl marquees are available in over 50 different sizes and can accommodate virtually any size function. We specialize in white free standing marquees allowing installation on concrete or bitumen. For impact and versatility there is nothing like a marquee. Doug Ede’s Hire has extensive experience in the rental and installation of marquees for every type of private and corporate event.

Traditional Pole, Rope and Peg Marquees

These are the traditional style marquees with interior centre poles and poles & guy ropes around the perimeter. These marquees must be erected on grass or soil and are available in a 5.5m, 7m, 9m and 15m series that can be made as long as 55m. 

Aluminium Framed Freestanding Marquees

These marquees are able to be erected on any type of terrain – grass, concrete, bitumen or sand. Available in many different sizes, they have no centre poles and minimal amount of anchor points. Included in this range are our regulation-council approved food booths. These marquees are 3.6 x 3.6m and are able to be fitted with flooring, lighting, full height and half-height walls if required. Doug Ede’s also have high peaked pagodas in a 4m x 4m square, 6 x 6m square and a 12m hexagonal in this style of marquee. These attractive free standing pagodas are of a modular design and can be joined together to form limitless numbers of shapes and sizes to accommodate any type of function or event.

Clearspan Pavilions

These are aluminium framed structures ideal for upmarket corporate functions or weddings and are able to be silk lined and air-conditioned. Various types of walls are available for these marquees including white, clear and arch window walls. These can be made as long as you desire (in 3m increments) and are available in  6m, 10m, 15m and a 20m series, Clearspan Pavilions are an excellent choice if you are looking to add sophistication to your planned event.

MasterTent Hire

MasterTent are the world leaders in the innovative pop-up tent market. These marquees are a heavy duty scissor action tent and are available for hire in a 3 x 3m, 3m x 4.5m, 4 x 4m and a 4 x 6m. MasterTent marquees are of a modular design where two or more can be joined with waterproof joiners and gutters and are ideally suited to the Commercial and Educational sectors.

There is a huge variety of accessories that Doug Ede’s can provide you with when it comes to the hire of marquees. Pro-floor (grey resin), Grey/Black Carpet Tiles and Timber flooring can be made to any size and shape that you require to floor your marquee.
